先日オーディション帰りに、日付は少し過ぎてはおりましたが、ユニバーサルスタジオで毎年開催されている「ハロウィン・ホラー・ナイト」という特別イベントに参加してまいりました。いつもとは一味違って悲鳴が飛び交うおどろおどろしい雰囲気に包まれたユニバーサルスタジオを思う存分堪能し、特別な一夜を過ごしてまいりました。
I went to “Halloween Horror Nights”, which is a Halloween event held at Universal Studio Hollywood every year. It was so exciting that I could have a wonderful night there.
歌手の広瀬香美さんが先日コンサートツアーの最終日をロサンゼルスで迎えられたのですが、運良く知り合いの方から招待をいただいたので、あの美しい歌声を存分に拝聴してまいりました。ジャンルは違えども、日本とアメリカ双方を舞台にエンターテイメント業界で活躍する広瀬さんの姿勢に多くの事を学ばせていただきました。
Komi Hirose, a Japanese singer and songwriter, held her concert in LA a few weeks ago. I got the ticket from my acquaintance, so I learned a lot from her experiences in the entertainment industry in addition to hearing her beautiful voice.

明けましておめでとうございます。元旦となる本日は怠けた体に鞭打って、JCCSC主催の「お正月イン・リトル東京」というイベントへ赴き、出店ブースの内の一つをお手伝いしてまいりました。アメリカにいながら「日本のお正月」を体験できるという極めて貴重な催しとあって、会場は年明け早々ながら大変な賑わいを見せていました。
A Happy New Year! I went to “Japanese New Year’s Oshogatsu Festival“, held in Little Tokyo by Japanese Chamber of Commerce of Southern California, in order to help my acquaintance. A lot of people visited the event because it was a precious one where we could experience Japanese traditional culture.

観光スポットとしても名高い老舗ホテル、The Mission Inn Hotel & Spaにて毎年開催、今年で24周年のホリデーイベント“Festival of Lights”を拝見しに、ロサンゼルス郊外まで少しばかり遠出してきました。上質な雰囲気の美しい歴史的建造物と何千何万もの電球を用いたイルミネーションの豪華絢爛さにすっかり目を奪われました。

昨日10日(土)は、今冬注目のスターウォーズシリーズ新作映画『ローグ・ワン/スターウォーズ・ストーリー』のプレミアイベントが、ハリウッドにて開催されました。祭りのあと一夜明けた本日のハリウッド通りでは、早朝よりスタッフの方々が黙々と後片付けに勤しんでいらっしゃいました。
11月27日、Japan Foundation Los Angeles主催にてシネマ歌舞伎『スーパー歌舞伎Ⅱ ワンピース』のプレミア上映を鑑賞すべく、Hollywoodまでお邪魔してきました。
